  • Steve & Donna mirabella

    mission directors > TEAM Tanzania

Steve and Donna Mirabella started serving in Tanzania since 1994. In 2007, they led a team from Florida on a short-term mission into remote unreached areas and the doors opened for them to reach the hidden tribes of Tanzania. They have seen entire villages saved by the power of God’s grace, demonic strongholds dismantled, many miraculously healed of disease, and they have raised up native Tanzanians to run with the gospel to their own people. Steve and Donna’s experience ranges from building a bible college to training missionaries for international missions, as well as training local

nationals to reach isolated tribes in their own country. In addition, they have overseen several well projects which have brought clean water for the first time to thousands of villagers, and they regularly lead teams on bush expeditions in some of East Africa’s most remote regions. Schooled by the hand of God through extreme life experiences, Steve and Donna bring a wide range of skills to the mission field, including their WFR (Wilderness First Responder) Certification through SOLO Schools and fluency in the native language, Kiswahili. As ordained ministers and parents of four children, the Mirabellas are proud to see all of their children serving the Lord – some in world missions. Steve and Donna desire to bring encouragement to both local churches, and churches in all nations to run with the light of the gospel. It is their heart for the kingdom of God to be established and carried to the farthest reaches of Tanzania and the world, by sons and daughters.

  • S & J

    mission directors > 10/40 Window

S & J met in Tanzania while living in missionary families. Since the beginning, their heart's desire has been to reach the lost. S & J have been serving and living in the 10/40 window for over 17 years, and currently reside in a nation that is 99.6% Islamic. It is considered one of the largest unreached nations in the world. They have assisted in distributing over 100,000 New Testaments and have often clashed with elements hostile to the gospel. Their service has spanned pastoring an international youth group, ministering to Gypsies and persecuted minorities, and facilitating outreach teams. The work is now growing into the third region of the nation, where they again will build up a local church community by helping to evangelize and disciple a core of new believers. Their vision to start a safe house has now served refugee families, victims of human trafficking, and other missionaries.

"God has put many things on our hearts and we pray they all come to fruition. Please join us in prayer to see souls come into the Kingdom!"   - S & J

Javen and Caitlin and their team have been certified by Solo Schools as Wilderness First Responders, enabling them to bring medical aid to the remote areas of their ministry sphere.

The team has a four-fold focus:

    1. THE UNREACHED: Share the gospel with and disciple those who have never heard.

    2. THE CHURCH: Pour into existing worldwide wherever they need to be awakened or encouraged.

    3. IMMERSE COMMUNITY: Lead a stateside group of believers who minister out of intimacy with the Lord and unified community.

“Following the blueprint of the early church, our goal is to minister out of a place of community with other believers and personal intimacy and communion with Christ, bringing the Kingdom to a lost world. Missionary work isn't what we do, it is who we are.” - Javen & Caitlin Mirabella

  • David & vicki elliott

    us missions/discipleship

David and Vicki Elliott are stateside missionaries whose heart is discipleship; they're consumed with making disciples who make disciples.  They believe Jesus' process of making disciples is the mandate on their lives - investing deeply in a small group of individuals and releasing them to do the same.  Both are ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God and they have served in various pastoral ministry positions since 1986.  They have two grown children serving in ministry and one beautiful grandchild.

Following the example of Jesus and the blueprint of the early church, David and Vicki share life with a group of people as an extended family of missionary/servants, serving in their neighborhoods and community, being formed through life in Christ, life in community, and life on mission.  With this approach, they are establishing a network of these missional communities which are reproducible, saturating a community with the Good News.

The old saying goes that what we bring people to Jesus with, we also bring them to,...bringing the lost to Jesus through relationship and encounter by discipling them into relationship with the lover of their souls and the Kingdom which bears His name.

"When we make disciples, we always get the church."  - Mike Breen

We are called to make disciples.  Christ builds the Church.

our training

It is critically important for TNT missionaries to be effective and protected in all phases of ministry and life. In differing work and regions, there are varying demands placed on our teams in their regular daily lives. We make sure all of our missionaries are prepared to endure in the service they are called to. The background and training of our missionaries is both diverse and exhaustive. Several have completed YWAM's Discipleship Training School (DTS), School of Evangelism (SOE), and School of Islamic Studies (SIS), while others have completed Advanced Mission Training (AMT) with Overland Missions. We also have team members placed with degrees in theology and ministry, and extensive backgrounds in pastoral and full-time church ministry. Seven of our missionaries have completed SOLO's Wilderness First Responder (WFR) medical training course as a part of AMT. Our missionaries know how to surrender to the Holy Spirit and how to physically survive the harshest environments or crisis.
